When you update from QuarkXpress® 3.0 to QuarkXpress® 3.1, you can no longer open a QuarkXpress® 3.0 document by double-clicking on it.
QXP 3.0 Imposter 1.1 restores this ability.
Installation
------------
DO NOT install QXP 3.0 Imposter before upgrading to QuarkXpress® 3.1.
Installation should be as simple as 1, 2, 3:
1) Place QXP 3.0 Imposter 1.1 IN THE SAME FOLDER as the QuarkXpress® 3.1 application.
2) Make sure your QuarkXpress® 3.1 application is named "QuarkXpress® 3.1" ("®" is option-r.)
3) Rebuild the Macintosh desktop file by restarting your computer while holding down the option and command keys. Continue holding these keys down until you are asked if you want to rebuild the desktop. Click on the "OK" button.
Change History
-------------
1.0 - Inital release for System 7.
1.1 - Fixed erroneous Finder flags that caused an infinite sub-launch loop with System 6.0.x.
- Increased application memory size to 25K to allow it to launch with System 6.0.x.
